They employ more than 300 people and operate throughout Ireland with their production plant in Wexford and distribution depots in Ballinasloe, Carlow, Cork and Dublin. They provide Hygiene Services to Industry, hospitality and healthcare sectors. It is a family owned business and is led by Managing Director Philip Scallan, Celtic was founded by his grandparents in 1926.
Celtic will provide a tour of their extensive, state of the art facility followed by a presentation by Philip Scallan on the topic of 'How to reduce costs while maintaining employment and profitability.' He will also give an insight into the management of a family owned business and the challenges and opportunities these recession times have brought to the business.

About Philip Scallan: Philip Scallan is the Managing Director of Celtic Linen Limited, a family owned group of companies based in Wexford. Philip has worked through all sections of the business to climb the promotion ladder to become Managing Director. He is qualified as an electronic technician and also as a laundry technician and is a graduate of Carlow Regional Technical College and Derby Lonsdale College.
